Out of these 2, which would you choose for your kiddo?
My daughters 4th birthday is coming up and I can't make up my mind between these two themes. Which one would you choose? 1. Playhouse Disney Theme - Which includes most of the morning characters: Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Little Einsteins, Winnie The Pooh, Handy Manny, Imagination Movers or 2. Dr Seuss theme - which would revolve around the following books : cat in the hat, horton hears a who, one fish two fish, the lorax, and oh the places you'll go For a bonus question what was your kids 1st birthday party theme? My 6 year old - Minnie Mouse My 3 year old - Disney Princesses

- Neither, go with a classic like Mulan
- hammer, nails, and some lumber... I get 'thumb's down' for that? I could have said "set her up for her future profession" and buy her high heels and some thongs...
- definatly go with the Dr. Suess theme. your kids will love it and always remember the best b-day they ever had. way to go on the choices.
- I would go with whichever one your child likes the best. I think for both of my kids 1st birthday parties we just had a "Happy Birthday" theme. A one year old won't really know the difference.
- Dr Seuss!
- Dr Seuss theme it is more creative disney is done alot my sons was tarzan theme
- I like the playhouse disney theme, its new and current with her age group. Dr. Seuss is kind of old skool to me.
- of those two choices, i'd go the book route, myself, and go with dr. seuss. none of my kids had a theme for their first birthday beyond getting frosting on their nose.
- I would SO go for the Dr Seuss theme! especially since there are two main morning channels for children, theres the Nick scene and then the disney scene. so some of the kids might not be so into the disney.
- she is turning 4. let her pick my daughter's first birthday was BooBah she did not have a party for her second third was build a bear 4th was Wall-E 5th was Ladybugs (picked by her step mom)
- Dr. Seuss ! Sounds like a blast ! I don't remember the any of their themes , I can't even guarantee that there was a theme.
- My son will be 4 this month - we've never really celebrated his birthdays aside from giving him a couple of presents and making him a cake - we've invited some 'other' family members (grandmas, uncles, etc) for some years. I might invite some of his playmates this year, but it'll still be small and low-key. I think maybe you're going overboard?
- Dr. Seuss hands down. Books always win. My son's 1st birthday is in a little over a week and we're doing Where the Wild Things Are for the theme.
- Both those seem pretty busy. I'd probably pick just one Dr. Seuss book or one morning character. But between the two I'd go with Dr. Seuss. Jonathan- Shrek Zack- no particular theme
- Why don't you let her decide? She's old enough to have a say. How about you ask what kind of birthday she wants?
- I would choose which ever one she likes best, if she likes them both about the same go with one that you can do theme related games and snacks. Like if you do the disney house you could make Mickey mouse cookies and as a game you could hide one of her gifts and leave fun clues to find it (like on the show) whoever wins u could give them candy or something for helping her find the gift. If u do Dr. Seuss you could do something similar with the snacks, like cookies that look like the hat on cat in the hat and make up a game from one of her favorite books. Like one fish two fish you could put little colorful paper fish around and which ever child gets the most matching fish by number or color wins. Im doing my sons 1birthday in Sesame Street he loves elmo and cookie monster.Anyway good luck, she probably like it no matter what u pick kids care most about games, gifts, candy, and cake!
- give her the option to choose between them. show her and say this or this? i do it to my son all the time and he loves having the choice. but personally..... dr seuss. Logans 1st bday was a fun swamp theme.
