Where are the fans of the first Mickey Mouse Club from the 50's here?
Did you have a favorite day of the week you especially liked? And what was the special segment, you looked forward to on that day? Who was the star if you remember, of that segment? If you remember all three of these questions, then you have a great memory. I changed my clothes as Baby it's cold outside. More snow is coming our way. So they're wrong about February having no snow here. I wanted to smile, but it changed on its' own. Now you know me from the new lynn. Just look for the Capital L, and you will know it's still me. This is for those who wanted to tell us apart. And you know who you are! My favorite segment was Spin and Marty also. I really liked Tim Considine. And I loved horses, so it was a good combination of eye candy, back then. I'd forgotten the tune for the Triple R, until it was mentioned. And I knew all of the words then. Not to mention every lead in song for that day of the week.

- When I was a kid we lived out in the rural community and we could only get one T.V. station, And the Mickey Mouse club was not on the one network we could get in, Unless the wind was blowing just right we could get it then. Yes I did see there is another Lynn and I was wondering also
- I thought nobody but me remembered the REAL one! That was our family dinner time and M-i-c-k-e-y-m-o-u-s-e club started just when we sat down. I can just hear them shouting out their names...Cubby! Sharon! Tommy! Doreen! Donnie! My favorite segment was Spin and Marty. I was 'in love' with the older one and thought the young one was so cute! Can't remember much else, except that my parent's friends and kids in school used to tell me I looked like Annette...which really stroked my ego!
- I watched it regularly so I guess I was a fan. Don't really remember the days; but, remember Annette (never understood the fuss), Chubby, Annette, Jimmy and the Mooseteer. :-) Remember the Spin and Marty series. There was a Western day wasn't there? I was pretty young.
- I watched it almost every day, and watched Annette's boob's get BIGGER and BIGGER ! I couldn't tell you what the rest of the show was about ! Then one day, I met her (at a kids baseball game in SF Valley), and it turned out that her boob's weren't all that big after all. Damn it ! (That's goes to show how a 13 year old boys mind works, hehehehe)
- I used to live for Spin and Marty!
- Yes, I liked the day of the week that featured Spin and Marty.
- Yes, I used to be a fan of the Mickey Mouse Club, and liked the Spin & Marty series.
- Sorry - I was in the club in the 60's.
- I would get on my shirt with my name on it, my pleated skirt and my ears and be glued to the TV. I loved the role call and the M-i-c-k-e-y song at the end (see ya real soon...). Annette was my favorite Mousketeer. I loved Wednesdays (Anything Can Happen Day). I must confess I had to look them up to remember what they were. What I most remember was how much I loved Spin and Marty. Way up there on the Triple R, yippy yay! Yippy Yo!
- Yes I watched that. I was in 3rd grade. It came on in the afternoon (Tuesday) after school let out. I had a crush on Doreen. (Later I noticed Annette had bumps and that intrigued me, but I was too young to know why.)
- I was! I remember coming home from elementary school and watching the Mickey Mouse Club. I liked Cubby and Karen and the episodes of Spin & Marty. I can't remember any guest but I do remember them becoming an honorary Mouseketeer.
- My older sisters used to watch it. They loved Annette and when I was born in 1958 they begged my mother to name me after Annette. So mother gave me Annette as a middle name after Annette on the Mickey Mouse Club. "M-I-C-K-E-Y M-O-U-S-E!!
- I was indeed a true blue fan of the Mickey Mouse Club. I loved all the Mousketeers, especially Cubby & Karen & they were Meesketeers. They were both blondes, small in stature, & really cuties. My favorite segment was Spin & Marty starring Tim Considine. In later serials, Mouseketeers Annette Funicello & Darlene Gillespie were added to the serial. Show segments were: Monday....Fun with music Tuesday....Guest star Wednesday....Anything can happen Thursday....Circus Friday....Talent Round Up
- I was a great fan of the Mickey Mouse television show. Thanks for the re-newed memories. To bad our children's programs didn't stay as wholesome and good for them as the ones we had way back then
- Annette Funicello was my idol. She was the person I admired then and still today. I really looked up to her.
- from 1950 to 1954 i was fighting the Korean War and didn't always have time to catch Mickey and his friends. did watch and still do, Bobby Burgess on the Lawrence Welk Show.
- I'm still truly in love with Annette, and enjoyed the adventures of Spin and Marty
